I started in the Customs industry in 1997 where I worked as a Customs Clerk for 12 months before I went to university to study marine biology. After university, i worked at the Aquarium of Western Australia (AQWA) for 3 years. Since 2004, I have worked in all facets of the industry including, operations, sales, freight forwarding, transport, accounts, and Customs. I obtained my Customs Brokers license and Quarantine accreditations in 2008. I have been operations manager, Customs manager and branch manger at my previous employments before become the Managing Director of Omega Cargo in September 2023.
After 21 years in Customs and freight forwarding industry, the most important aspect of what we do is to offer superior customer service to clients and provide them with all the information necessary for them to make informed decisions about their cargo.
